With more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Donald Morris has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families with important financial decisions and achieve their long-term goals.
In 2015 Don founded Morris Financial Group, a specialized practice focused on post-divorce financial planning. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), he provides guidance during one of life's most challenging transitions, helping clients make informed decisions and create a solid foundation for the next chapter of their lives.
In addition to his work with clients, Don has been actively involved in the collaborative divorce community. He has served as President of the Central Ohio Academy of Collaborative Divorce Professionals (COACDP) and as President of WinWinDivorce.org since 2020. Don also serves as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrator.
Throughout his career, Don has remained committed to continuous learning and professional development. His philosophy is simple: provide thoughtful guidance, compassionate support, and exceptional service to every client. He believes that post-divorce planning is about more than budgets and financial statements—it's about helping people regain stability, reduce financial stress, and move forward with confidence.
Outside of his professional life, Don enjoys spending time with his wife and their grown children, while also pursuing his love of the outdoors. An avid adventurer, he has hiked sections of both the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail and explored some of the nation's most breathtaking landscapes, including Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks. Of all his outdoor experiences, his favorite remains canoeing the Boundary Waters along the Minnesota-Canada border. Don was a dedicated Scoutmaster for over 10 years and is proud of the dozens of young men who achieved the rank of Eagle under his leadership.
