INTRODUCTION/GENERAL COMMENTS/PERSONALS GOALS FOR INVOLVEMENT IN COLLABORATIVE FAMILY LAW CASES:
I believe the collaborative divorce process provides an environment for all parties to be as comfortable as possible, with open lines of communication and full disclosure of information for the purpose of efficiently reaching agreements and terminating a marriage. Incorporating the financial neutral in the process is instrumental for the individuals to make informed financial decisions and to begin the next phase of their lives with a solid understanding of their finances. I have almost 20 years of experience advising clients in pursuit of their financial goals. Having been divorced myself and having counseled many clients through the aftermath of their own divorces, I understand how challenging the process can be mentally, emotionally, and financially. I appreciate the collaborative divorce process and believe it has the potential to yield more favorable outcomes for couples and families. Over the past 18 years, I have educated and assisted clients in understanding their current and future financial condition. As a neutral financial professional, I provide an objective opinion that helps clients make informed financial decisions which allow the collaborative process to work more efficiently.
