INTRODUCTION/GENERAL COMMENTS/PERSONALS GOALS FOR INVOLVEMENT IN COLLABORATIVE FAMILY LAW CASES:

After working on dozens of divorces and seeing the impact of adversarial proceedings on the parties and their families, I became convinced that there had to be a better way. The collaborative process gives the parties the opportunity to actively participate in the divorce process and design an end to the marriage and beginning of their new lives that best suits them. The collaborative process creates an environment where the professionals are there to cooperate and help the parties find the best solution instead of each going for their version of a one-sided win. Collaborative family law is a better way and I want to help my clients as they go through a difficult time in their lives.
