Tom Nagel is a partner in a small law firm in German Village in Columbus, Ohio. His areas of practice include Domestic Relations, Real Estate law, Probate, and Civil Litigation. He has been practicing law in Columbus since 1971, and was admitted to the Federal Bar that same year. He was admitted to the Federal 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in 1976.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a cum laude graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law.

Tom is a past president of the Collaborative Family Law Council, and a frequent speaker on Collaborative Family Law. He is also a member of the Columbus Bar Association's Family Law committee, and the Columbus Bar Association's Real Estate Law committee.  He was the author of chapter 20, "Enforcement of Support" in Sowald and Morgenstern's Ohio Domestic Relations Law for several years.
